Wherever I go I look for the best coffee. Great shops are out there, but they're hard to find.
When we lived in Texas in 2023, I lived within a half-mile to my favorite find yet.
Meet Amy and Vince 👇

I remember one day when I first started walking to the shop for good cups of coffee and work sessions I asked Vince (Amy's brother) about Amy...
"She's always so kind and bubbly and happy. Is that real?"
"Oh, it's real. That's just her."

Amy's dad was a USAF pilot and called Amy "Squirrel" -- hence the name of the shop.
They roast and serve the best coffee around and they make you feel like family whether you're coming in at six o'clock on Monday morning or Sunday night at six for Bible study, food, and a healthy debate.

They now take some profit from the business to focus on sustainable water projects for people that have restricted access to clean drinking water.

Business done well has always been a part of the Body of Christ.
Some people may never step into a church building but they may find themselves in an oasis like Flying Squirrel in need of a hot cup of coffee a warm smile and a stranger that listens like a friend.
Oh yeah, and Olivia wants to know if we can bring her favorite coffee shop to Sweden? 🇸🇪

BTW Amy and Vince, I just booked my flight back to visit. I miss ya'll already.
See you nerds in April! ☕️🫡
Confession: I was standing on my tip-toes in that first picture... and this one too👇
